Is this bourd good for overclocking : XFX MB-750I-72P9

Hi there ive finally made up my mind to get a XFX MB-750I-72P9 socket 775 but want to no how good is it at overclocking with a intel Q6600. Also it says it can support ddr2-1200mhz in o/c mode so does that mean i have to o/c ram to 1200mhz or use a ram of 1200mhz. heres the link to the bourd and specs, http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...ATA+II%2c++ATX.

Are you dead set on SLI, because Intel boards tend to be a better bet than nVidia.

I hear the DFI boards are particularly good for overclocking

Uuuh... what? Look at any of the P45, X38 or X48 boards.

Re: Is this bourd good for overclocking : XFX MB-750I-72P9

Why do you want support for DDR2-1200? With a Q6600 you will have it overclocked to 3.6GHz before you even need to overclock DDR2-800 and since the CPU will not generally run much faster than that unless you get a particularly good clocker the need for support for memory of that speed is irrelevant.

I suggest you read the overclocking guide in the stickies to get a better idea of what is required in overclocking so you actually know what to look for.
