    I am not sure if this should be posted in this section?

    But I am new so please don't shout

    I have just seen the price of the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 has this just dropped by £100 in the last 24hrs? and is so is it a bargain?

    The price I have seen it was also £230.17 Inc VAT from SCAN

    BUT

    Yesterday they has it @ £321.94 on their today only page.

    Seems odd it was £321 yesterday......I paid £215 inc vat for mine almost 2 months ago from scan. Are you sure it wasn't the Q9650?

    That included a motherboard in the price which costs ~£110 so it was a reasonable offer if you needed both
