    Re: Laptops

Im quite cautious when it comes to the newer HPs as my friends have had a couple, and they have fallen apart after a couple of months, so i dont think the build quality is too great.

    Re: Laptops

i personally wouldn't get a laptop with a dedicated graphics card and such a huge HD and everything like that..
get an integrated graphics, small HD, dual core, 2GB laptop (Dell or something).
they can be had for about £150 less than that, and it'll be better aswell

Why? I mean the integrated argument is fine I suppose but why a small HDD? The size doesn't really matter, it's the speed which can affect battery life.

The really important bits to get right are those you can't change (easily) .. Screen, keyboard, CPU and GPU. I'd go with a dell studio 15 in that price range.

In the shop elec-bestseller.com there are many new and cheapest products , much cheaper than the market. Could you have a look? I think you could find a good one for you.

I think it depends. Mostly I would agree but if it's just HD stuff you want to watch then PUMA or Intels X4500HD will do the job and save you on battery life.

Best thing to have is both though which is becomming more and more the norm

Yep, just depends on the user and their use.
I was just trying to point out that what Matty may buy has little relation on whats would be suitable for the OP without knowing more
