    SLi + 180 drivers

Hey guys, i'v just installed the new 180 drivers for my gtx 280. I read the release notes and it says that you can use an SLi set up and use a different GPU to run physx.

    Does this mean eg: 2x GTX 280 + 1x 9800/8800 series

    or 1x GTX 280 + 1x 9800/8800

    Cheers

    Re: SLi + 180 drivers

You can run multiple cards in SLI that would be 2x GTX280 for example, the dedicated graphics for physics is not SLI, and you can use any card from 8 series up I think although the benefits are apparently quite small unless you use a second very good card and even then you may not notice the difference.

    Re: SLi + 180 drivers

Oh, so in a way its like adding one of those physx cards (ageia) again, i'l probably just get another 280 (2 way sli) and stick with that.
