corsair xms 4gb kits - technical note

Just got a 4gb xms2 dhx kit and i noticed that there is a very firm recommendation that the kit isnt suitable for 32bit systems and recommended for 64bit systems only - why?

oh, btw im running 32bit vista

I think it's only because a 32 bit system will only see 3.25gb RAM and you need 64bit to see the full 4gb

Its also because programs have a 2gb adressing limit but it wouldnt really matter since 2gb on a game is LOADS so its ok to ignore. Its not recommended if your getting a 4870x2 because its 4gb-ram on card so you will be left with like 1.7gb.
