Why won't this KN8 POST with OCZ PC3200 ?
I cant make this KN8 Abit S939 post at all with these two sticks of PC3200 OCZ 400 1024ELDC-K
Both sticks are matching 512mb 2-3-2-6, and even with the mobo booting with cheapo stuff and then swapping to the new stuff, ie slack timings, it's not working. Also tried with combos of my ram and this ram, and it's not having any of it.
I cranked the volts from default (2.6V?) to 2.7 and am loathe to go higher unless you think I should.
Whats up with it? Mobo incompatible?

I ran 2 types of OCZ in the board.
The first was the uber PC4200 stuff (model PN:OCZ5331024PFDC-K)
The second was a OCZ PC3200 2*1gig kit. Nothing fancy, but I don't have the model number to hand.
Both worked fine and for long periods. Have you tested the RAM in another system?

I've got one of these mobo's that i've just replaced and found to be a pain with ram - it was fine with 2x512 geil, then no good with 2x1gb ballistix (BSOD), ok with value ram - who knows. Have a look on asus website - have they got a compatibily page?
