22" monitor recommendations?
Well my dad needs a new lcd screen for his pc and he uses it just for browsing the web, no games and so it doesn't need to be amazing quality. He's looking for less than a £100 or near that price as its just for the spare one, something that looks good is a good bonus black is probably the best colour. Dont know if it needs DVi but i think VGA would be fine, its running on an x1300(i think) so it should be able to display no problems.
Any recommendations are appreciated.
edit: ah, posted in the wrong section :P sorry was ment to be in the monitors bit.

If possible then yes. Otherwise spend the extra £60 :)
I can imagine, soon no one will want 22". We 24 inchers will look down at the inferiority of the not-even-1080p-compatible 22 inchers
Re: 22" monitor recommendations?
I suppose. But thats 60% more than his budget:O

How come? i know its better but cant have it down stairs as the desk is a corner one where it has sides to it(for paper work/printer etc) so 22" is even pushing it, there is a 19" crt in it at the moment and so 22" is a good increase for the money.
More computers has some for £100, how about this one http://www.morecomputers.com/TechDesc.asp?pn=HW223D ?

Re: 22" monitor recommendations?
Well the reviews seem positive - not gr8 colour reproduction, but don't suppose ur dad needs it, Even got DVI-D:) and USB (no sign of VGA so ensure that ur dads GPU has DVI too).
Not an expert though:(
But as far as i can see go for it
