What Do We Have Here....New CPU Coolers from Thermaltake!

Like the look of these new CPU coolers from ThermalTake, wonder if there's pricing for the SpinQ for LGA775 yet.

The first one looks cool but the fan might be noisy... apologies if the vid states otherwise, I just browsed it. Didn't want to interrupt my Neutral Milk Hotel song

    I think it states 19-28dBa for 1000-1600RPM.

On a side note, your avatar reminds me of days gone by....oh yes, Mario.
I know its a bit late format but welcome to the forums.

Looks nice but pity about the fan. Would have been nice if you could choose what fan to fit.

It's not a fan but a blower (like thoes on graphics cards) so it would be very hard to get a replacement any way

The SpinQ does look funky, but an 80mm blower is not going to be that quiet, granted that blowers make a differnt sound to fans, more of a woosh than a hum.
The problem often comes from that fact that the sound is different so you often notice it more.
Nice to see a new design idea though.

The V1 is nothing new, been about for a while now, what is new is the V14 pro
Which is a lrager version with a 140mm fan
But more importantly there's a new bigtyphoon with a 140mm fan and double ended heat pipes (ie the middle of the heat pipe is at the cpu and both ends are in the cooling fins)
    http://www.thermaltake.com/product_i...Pro&ov=n&ovid=
People often forget the bigtyphoon as it's an older cooler but it is still an exellent cooler.
This revamp of it looks very good. (although the fan doesn't look so good, there are long standing issues to the quality of thoes clear plastics)

Still, would have been nice if they designed it in a way where one could put a fan of thier choice on the heatsink.

Yeah, the SpinQ looks nice, wonder how it sounds like and yes the V1 is not new, its been a long time since it came, it's picture is also posted in a thread I started, "most visually appealing CPU coolers" you could check it out if you like CPU coolers, it has a lot of sexy pictures
