what cheap printer to get?

hi, i've just got a free shipping voucher from ebuyer(thanks to this forum)
and i've not had a printer for a year or two, as i've got a lexmark and they are very expensive for replacement ink.
anyway which printer from these two is the best, not going to be doing photos or anything just a bit of college work, and normal everyday black and white printing.

get a 300 or above if you can afford it imho, much faster prints

but the quality is about the same though? what kind of speeds are we looking at in normal mode?

yeah, quality is about the same

about 6ppm mono, 4/5 ppm color on that thing i should think.

I hate Epson printers. I find the quality rather similar to the mess left on a piece of toilet paper right after it's been used to cleanse one's bottom with.
