Well, thinking of getting anew PSU for my wife's PC (Has near top end spec). I want a nice quiet one but one that will run anything. Gaming is done on the pc (By my nephew).
I am unsure what to go for, either Enermax Modular one or a Corsair Modular one, or another?
Must be quiet and modular. Any advice would be welcome.
Yeah that pretty much sums up the choices well you could add in the Seasonic M12's as well since they are basically the same as the Corsair HX series.
If the system is not duel GPU then I would probably go for the 425W Enermax Modu82+ will be plenty of power (assuming were not talking 4870s or GTX260/280 and even then its probably fine)

Where's that new Corsair 450W HX when you need it.
I'd probably get the 520W HX as I think it's great and always go seasonic where possible. I'm sure the Enermax or even the Be Quiet! Dark Power ~450W's are good though.
I just buiilt a pc for a mate with a NorthQ 650 modular and it's near silent and good as gold :)
