Where is a OC'ng program for Vid Cards?

I am trying to oc my videocard (MSI Geforce 4 Ti4800SE) but the software on the cd is with the drivers and they suck... I was wondering where a videocard oc'ing program is?

Make a registry file called nvctrl.reg
then paste this information into it..

then run the registry file and then check the nvidia control panel you will then have options for overclocking

yes, download that reg file, double click it, then go to the display settings advanced tab and you'll have a couple of nice sliders to play with.

It's as easy as downloading another program, running and playing with the sliders in that..

I downloaded it, then it asked me if I would like to open it or add it to my registry, I did. Still no oc'ing tabs... Hmmm.

Perhaps Nvidia has changed there drivers so the registry files doesnt work anymore??

that's about it, go up a little bit, test with some 3d intensive applications, 3dmark03 is pretty good at showing up any instability, especially the 'mother nature' test, repeat.

Yeah i agree with fondie try moving the slider 5 at a time and testing i normally move the core and memory settings in sync and then when i get artifacts i lower it 10 then move one slider on its own till i get artifacts and lower it 5..

Core is more important for overall speed than memory (i think).

I eventually got my old MSI GF4 ti4200 to core 300 and memory 600
