    Intel price drops

    hello,

    Now that nehalem has arrived, when will we see price drops on the older CPU's?

    A while back, I was looking at buying a Q9550 CPU, but it was too expensive at the time (unfortunately, it's actually gone up in price by over £40). Still waiting for some reasonable prices.

    Probably, although there is still quite a market for socket 775 CPU's so i dunno exactly, there will probably be price cuts in most things over the xmas period tho.

    Don't forget with the pound diving against the dollar in value even if we see price cuts prices may still be higher than they were a month ago. If only computer prices were priced per country rather than all converted from dollar values...
