That's ok but for two parts, the graphics card and PSU.
The CoolerMaster PSU you got there is great for the price but I suggest you go for something more reputable like the Corsair TX, HX and VX range.
For £90 you should be getting a much better graphics card, refer to this thread.

Looks pretty good although I would change the graphics card, not quite sure what to though.
To be honest, you say you will use it for things such as surfing and ripping, isn't that a touch overkill for such simple tasks?

Got to be careful with components at the moment as prices are getting a bit silly. Your mobo for example was £80 a month or so back, £120 is taking the wizz. Take a look at scan, the PRO is only £100 there. I'd go with something from DFI which are £100 (and worth it) or save some money and get a biostar from scan which are quite highly regarded.
Again the processor is over priced for what it is now. The Intel pentium dual core E5200 is £55 - £60 and at 2.5GHz is not going to show much performance difference. It's also very overclockable if you wish to make it faster.
PSU wise either the Enermax Modu82+ 425W or the corsair 450W VX are what I would go for. More than enough power for you system, quiet, stable and efficient :)
Graphics as above. Probably a 9800GT or HD4850 in that price bracket.

As has already been said by staffsmike + do you need that much on the graphics? if you're not playing games then you generally don't need much in the way of graphics.
Also unless you have windows disks you'll need to add in the cost of that as well.

That's why it's so expensive and of no use to you, AGP is the old graphics card interface, pci-express is the newer one and that motherboard has pci-e not agp (as will every p45 motherboard or any other motherboard from the past 4-5 years)

Forgive my ignorance with regards to the spec. I'm just trying to build a rig that will last s few yrs and be quite fast in the process.. As regards to my gaming and monitor. I don't intend to do any gaming at the min, my monitor is a standard dell flat 17inch. 1280x1024, 60Hz.

a 3850 512mb will play most things at max setting at that res :)
Also look at the nvidia 9600gt, ati HD4670 all should be around £65
Hunt around and you may pick up a cheap 3870
next step up is the 9800GT (8800gt, it's the same card) and HD4830 all should be about £90-100
these have the advantage that you should be able to step up to a 20-22" without a major performance hit
the next after that is the 4850 and 9800gtx these are pritty much wasted on a 17" as I've found out ;) the only things that really stress my 9800gtx is benchmark software :) but this means if you'er considering a monitor upgrade in the near future these are both great cards for the cost.
the 4850 is around £115 and the 9800gtx+ £135
CPU as has been said, have a look at the e5200, 2.5ghz and will overclock very eaisly to 3ghz and should still hit 3.5ghz with out too much hassle. £65ish
other than that the E7300, 2.66ghz, will overclock to 3ghz without problems and should still hit 3.5ghz and only £100 so even at stock there's very little difference between that and the e8200 execpt £30 ;)
The final one to consider is the old faithal Q6600 for around £145 (not as good a buy now it was down around £120 before :( )
If you're not considering any overclocking or just a little, I would still consider some after market cooling.
I'm really not a fan of the intel stock cooler, I find it clogs itself up with dust to eaisly
No need to go silly here something like the Akasa AK965x3 will be fine and under £11

Scythe have some good coolers in this range but they seem thin on the ground now :(

if you're not looking to game, save money on the GPU! get a 9600GT max, even a 9500GT would be fine, provide a bit of gpu acceleration where needed but can be passive if needed. anything else is overkill i reckon, if u decide to game there will be room for an upgrade

Corsair VX450 is a nice PSU
CPU prices are crazy due to the $=£ exchange rate but a E5200 would suffice, you can always upgrade it in a year or so when the Core Duo prices crash (hopefully)
Card-wise a 9600gt is still overkill but you can settle at that fine, if you heart is set on a ATI3850 just wait around a little, Scan seem to sell them off for £40 now and again. Myself, I lurked on Ebay for 2 weeks until I picked up a new 8600gt for £19 incl. postage! so there are some great deals about if you look hard (a 8600gt should handle 2 screens at 1920x1200 each, not a gaming card but fully HD compatible)
