    Fan controller

I've decided to take Webby's advice (http://forums.hexus.net/graphics-car...n-control.html), and get a fan controller to minimise my system's noise

    So....

    Which should I get?

    Zalman ZM-MFC2

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Zalma...ay-Best-Seller

    or...

    Thermaltake Hardcano 13

    http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pag...item=124&num=1

I like them both, but the TT appears to be unavailable in the UK as of yet.

Any ideas, or more suggestions? I'm open to most

    Re: Fan controller

Oh God what have I gone and recommended this time?

*Has a quick flick through the old thread*

Ah that seems reasonable enough on to recommending a fan controller!

This one because it looks far to cool

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Scyth...ntroller-Black and £3.50 cheaper in silver http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Scyth...troller-Silver Ha I knew the was an advantage in having silver cases rather than black

I have the Scythe Kama Meter http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...roducts_id=484 and its great apart from the volume control bit which is so completely pointless (don't even have it plugged in) have that because I wanted a graphical display and it needed to be silver and the wasn't a whole lot of choice at the time. Good quality product though has served me well so far I would go with the Kaze Master though looks very slick the are Aluminum fronted versions available as well for a £8 premium http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...roducts_id=994 probably not worth it unless you have the aluminium fascia to go with it.

    Re: Fan controller

I did this recently cos I wanted my PC to run silently so I got a NZXT SENTRY LX. It was a bit more expensive than the others available but imo it looks a bit more interesting. Only criticism I have is that the viewing angles on the screen are poor but if u keep ur PC on the desk beside u it would be perfect. It has an automatic mode too.

    Re: Fan controller

    Thanks for the replies!

The NZXT is a little out of my price range... but I like the Kama-meter too, thanks for that.

I liked the Zalman because it showed the speed/temperature of all four fans/probes at the same time. It also has a PWM module for the CPU fan, which looks usefule.
