Has anyone upgraded the RAM in their's?? if so what did you go for?
There is a lot of 2Gb SODIMMs around and they vary a lot in price from about £15 - £40
also
was it worth it?

Yeah it's worth it - i don't have a swap file for XP so it made some sense. I just picked some random RAM up and slapped it in - doesn't seem to be fussy what you pop in there. Of course the built in Linux couldn't see more than 1gb but i soon got shot of that.
Think you can get 2x1gb of PNY SODIMMs RAM on Play.com for £16 at the moment, not sure of the quality of it though

that's no use as there's only 1 ram slot in netbooks
I've got a 901 linux and the 1gb is fine, 1gb in xp should be fine as long as your not doing anything too memory hungery (like gameing)
there are some reported memory issues, depends on the model and memory speed.
I love my 901 for size (that 1" less makes a big difference to me) weight (1kg) and great battery life (a good 5 hours at least)
although if you're considering getting one I'd also have a look at the new samsung NC10 and toshiba NB100 before you do.
I pretty much just use my Eee for internet, email and the BBC iplayer, oh and frets on fire (though its tricky with such small F keys). It was issues with make of RAM I was worried about really

I cannnot remember which ones had issues off hand, also may of been early bios issues.
Check here http://forum.eeeuser.com/ it's a great forum for the eeepc
But off hand I'd say stick with 1gb
