    Laptop / tool bag

I am in the market for a decent backpack style laptop bag.

It needs enough room for: some small tools, a fluke dvm, similar sized light meter, cleaning kit, some serial leads and an assortment of fibre patch cords. All of which is currently in a small backpack minus the laptop.

It needs to be rugged enough to protect from the weather and (in)frequent bumps etc.

Its a normal sized dell d600 laptop not an expensive widescreen jobby.

    Any recomendations?

    Cheers!

The jansports are normally very rugged and there is always the trusty pakuma's.

I got my current one from PC World which isn't too bad but they tend to be messenger style bags these days and I prefer the back pack style one's.

This is what I have for my studio 15, and it is great. Enough space for lappy, charger, battery, 5 text books (collage, A4, 1-2cm thick), four files (4cm ish at widest), pencil case, planner and 200 sheet pad:

Cheers guys, I'm going with the Wenger Swissgear option which looks like just the ticket.

Pilot case is big enough. but may be a bit impractical on stairs and when I have to climb the odd ring ladder.

    Thank you for your input!
