Laptop help
My laptop crashed last night when looking through a few files. I rebooted and windows xp started back up. It got to the windows loading screen (blue bar across the bottom of the screen) and then crashed again. After this every time I tried to boot up the system, it would crash at the same point. Today I decided to reformat the hard drive and reinstall xp. I have now tried numerous attempts @ putting xp back on the laptops hard drive but it loads to about 40% and then crashes. The error message is different every time. I have tried numerous versions of xp to try and get an OS on but still nothing. I have also run western digital data lifeguard on the hard drive and there have been no errors shown. I am now zero filling the drive with the hope that the laptop will finally take an OS.
If anyone has any ideas I will be very grateful.
Thanks to you all in advance.

Re: Laptop help
I also thought it could be ram.
Went and purchased a new stick this morning and tried it out.
Laptop is now working without any problems but I have spent a large part of the day reloading programs. :O_o1:
