I see. Well 69 degree's under load is fine (is that full load?) as you won't be at full load all the time.
I believe 70 degree's is the cut off but that might be the g0 not the B3 as they are a little different.

Well I reseated the heatsink and i've got idle down to 38 but the high is 75 still.
I can't install a new heatsink which would be the most obvious solution but i've noticed that my heatsink is passively cooled. The nearest fan is 5cm away blowing air onto it so i'd like to know if anyone knows if its possible to install a fan on a Dell E520 stock heatsink (i've even though of sticky tape! ). Also if i was to install two exhaust fans pulling air out how much of a difference would this make. I'll probally still do it as it'll only cost me £10.
One thing i have learnt from this is. I hate dells! They may be ok pc but there a pain to upgrade. I can't wait till i can do my own custom build. Going to wait till after christmas when i have the money!
