Have a look at ricoh - full auto control, really nice and compact and - thank god there's at least 1 digital - virtually no shutter lag. Uses a CMOS sensor.

i dunno, i havent heard enough about Ricoh to trust them, and CMOS sensors...are you sure thats good??
Ive tried out a Panasonic FS7, unfortunately developed a problem so its going back. Im gonna pay the £10 extra to get an FS15

It's neither here nor there. Just by itself it doesn't mean anything - there are bad CMOS sensors and there are good CCD sensors.
Ricoh are a quality make though, at least, used to be in film days. Nothing really carries over though so it's not much use!

CMOS means less shutter delay on the whole. Which is good. And the Ricoh compacts are brilliant, just check out soem reviews.
