    Question Broadband router issue

Just a quick query, I've got a wireless network at home routing broadband to 4 computers, as the router has a built in firewall is it necessary to install firewalls on the pc's or just a bit of overkill on my part?

Check that a firewall is actually built in, some routers just give some crappy software for all client PC's! Also, I'd have a look at the adslguide.org.uk forums too, maybe some advice for you there.

I've always been told to get Cisco kit for firewalling, but that is overkill imo.

    Cheers,

I got a linksys befr41 4-port router with built in firewall. Windows complains when u try to network 2 pcs through it cause it wants to separate the link between the internet and other pcs. I don't run any more software on top.

I still have a firewall on my PC - can never be too safe!
