Running Dual/Triple Channel

Do you have to buy matched sets or can you buy two sticks of the same brand + model seperately and still run it?

aye you can and 9999999999999/10000000000000 times it will be fine, buying a matched pair basically gives you 2 which are close on the production line so you get the same silicon etc..

Dual chan runs with different sticks fine in almost every config I have tried

I remember an article from a while back saying that things were going to get a bit more strict with Tri.chan but it's a bit too expensive for me to play about with just yet
