    zalman cpu watercooling block question

Does anyone know if the cpu watercooling block that came with the zalman resorator (the orig one blue one) is compatible with an LG775?

currently i have it on my P4, but have literally just ordered a C2D with an asus P5Q motherboard. are the heatsink fittings the same?

    any ideas?

Re: zalman cpu watercooling block question

I would be tempted to get a new CPU block, I know the bracket will be cheaper if you can find one but you will get better performance from a modern block designed for a multi-core CPU

So with that in mind how about an XSPC Delta V3 (£30 from Scan http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/XSPC-...CPU-waterblock, you will need a couple of fittings as well for whatever size Zalman tubing you have) or if you want to stay Zalman perhaps the ZM-WB5 (£24 from Scan http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Zalma...M2-754-939-940)

yeah, i thought about a newer zalman block.

i managed to finda fitting for £3, so i'll try that, if not buy the new block
