Can you guys check if this is a good deal?!

so want a new PC that is cheap. and i know that for the same price i could get a much better PC performance wise. but i want to know what would the experts on here value this PC at? i am thinking maybe 400?? the most exp thing i thought on that setup was the case?

thanks. he said he would lower it to £600? but i know i can build a much better one for the same price. but i don't have the time.

so ultimately is this too much?

Depends on the hard drives and age, but I would say £350.

you can get a Core i7 Dell for £699.

or for £850, you can upgrade it to 6GB (6x 1GB) RAM and an ATI 4850 512Mb GFX card..

Re: Can you guys check if this is a good deal?!

it is a old high-end mobo, cpu performancewise would be about the same, tbh i never touch anything second hand that has been overclocked.

tbh if u want a pro gaming pc just oc ur E6600 to 3ghz buy a graphics card for just over 100 (HD4850 or 9800gtx) then it would be at least 40% better than that.

Opposite for me, unless its been extreme overclocked. If you know a Q6600 can hit 3.6+GHz, that is more reason to buy it, not less. A new one might be a crap clocker
