basically just wondering where most people feel comfortable when it comes to their CPU temperates under load.
print screens and stuff are welcome, but keep them small
hopefully help people determine what's 'safe' for a CPU aswell.

Don't know. I don't bother checking.
Oh s**t I just voted my idle load, my full load temp would be around 45 to 50 c on all 4 cores.
thats a hell of a seperation in temperatures matty.
Why has a loaded temp of 31degC or less anyway?
Mine are 59-64 from last night. I think thats pretty good, but your poll makes that look far too hot.
It depends with which app you load it with...
E6300 never seen it above 45'c
Well just checked so this is the figure for today, been running F@H all night but swapped to Intel Burn Test for a bit more heat and,
46°C, 3.5GHz E6550 and my NB and 3870 in the same water loop.
For a bit of additional info when running F@H GPU client and CPU client concurrently CPU temp is 37ºC and GPU temp 34ºC, and when running Orthos (blend mode) max CPU temp was 38ºC.
I try to keep my E6320 under 50c. It is running at 3ghz (1.83 stock) and generally stays around 45c under load. This is with a Coolermaster TX-2 and a Antec 300.
that's with my new Antec 300.
Scythe Mine CPU cooler
Ramped back on the overclock atm while I play around with running game servers and high-def streaming to the 360 in the living room as well as running slimserver for the squeezeboxes
God, mine gets up to about 65 on full load, have seen it at 70 when my room is hot . That's at 3.0gHz.
Hopefully thats only because of my badly mounted heatsink, tomorrow it should be down a fair bit... I hope .
