    Re: Quick Question

yeh should be fine, hack the side off the case and check though, they like to make their mobo as un upgrade as possible.

When my friend tried to add another hdd in his old dell, it only had 1 sata port...

    Re: Quick Question

If its the hybrid, then it takes SODIMMs
    http://www.desktopreview.com/shared/picture.asp?f=857
    (the hybrid cracked open)
And if its the standard ATX ones, then it **should** take standard DIMMs as dell as moved past the stage of soldering everything and having special fittings

    Re: Quick Question

Dell use far more standard parts now execpt the motherboards & case which are custom jobs, it was a while back when they and others were using odd parts I seem to remember the memory issue was that the retention brackets were different and the ram had the cutouts on the edges at a different height.
