take the carriage off the second one. It near enough evens out with the lower HDD and RAM prices.
The cases do seem to be going down again though, check the CM-690 on ebuyer :)
the motherboards are the biggest kick in the teeth, there's barely anything good under £100. Ebuyer have the Asus PRO for £96 though.
yeh i changed, only just noticed =P
dont forget about reduced vat, if it was still 17.5% it cost 14 pound more.
Unfortunately the motherboard and cpu increases have well over ridden the other decreases :(
and I\'d expect some of the other bits to go up/out of stock as they are old stock not hit by the £vs$ changes yet and/or may well be EOL and dissapear like the Scythe Mine did :(
I\'m half tempted to buy some things now before they go up like the RAM and case but i just know if i do they will go down
ahaha, sods law, and I have the exact same mindset!
I bought the 1tb samsung hdd and 4gb xms2 cas 5 combo for £101.19 earlier in the week. The other day it was back up to £103 so...
Next year, Im sure it will be down to <£100 but meh, it happens with all tech.
I got my Q6600 for about £110, its the first time I have ever seen current technology go up in price since 32pin dims went up after a fire in the FAB in about 1997
A few of the items are on today only (might be £10-£15 off)
