Graphics card a little weighed down...

As you can see, the graphics card is bowing slightly, is this going to be a problem?

Also, on an aside, who likes my cabling?
Re: Graphics card a little weighed down...
Probably not a problem (seen worse), it might be nice to prop it up though.. just in case lol
Cabling.. eerrrrr yeah lol I've seen worse but you have a P182.. just feed them round the back :)
Re: Graphics card a little weighed down...
thats nothing compared to the POS scan tried to rip me off with as a warranty replacement
Re: Graphics card a little weighed down...
I can't really see any bending above the horrendous distortion your camera is giving! Looks fine to me - if anything your motherboard just isn't quite aligned with the case expansion slots - maybe try nudging it up a bit, but otherwise just make sure the bracket is screwed in tightly.
Re: Graphics card a little weighed down...
Yeah to me that looks fine, I would just make sure its all screwed in tight and forget about it. As for the cabling, well honestly for that case its a bit of a mess :S. Sorry.

Re: Graphics card a little weighed down...
Heh, was probably a bad idea to use a flash on the case while it was upright.
Anyway, you're right about the cabling, put that in as sarcasm, sorry if it didn't carry. The problems I had were that my PSU isn't modular, so I had to hide a few cables, losing space for tucking away the SATA power, as well as having two PATA DVD drives, but the real killer for cables was my fan controller (including the big black thing with a thick black cable at the bottom) and that damned external USB header above my graphics card.
There's a little hook at the top of this case on the inside, so I think i'll tie some fishing line to a bolt hole on the card and suspend it from the roof that way.... unless anyone thinks this is a horrible idea!
Thanks for the replies.

Re: Graphics card a little weighed down...
They really aught to offer card clamps in commercial PC cases.

Bring back full-length cards! :P
[nostalgia]I remember having a full length 10mb thin-net card[/nostalgia]
Re: Graphics card a little weighed down...
i have a full length ISA Hauppauge TV capture card, only ever once put it in a machine and it grabbed about 5 IRQs so nothing else would work :)
Re: Graphics card a little weighed down...
I'd try using cable ties rather than fishing line, it gets quite warm inside of the case, this could cause the line to stretch/melt/snap.

You do realise that both fishing line and cable ties are made of the same material (nylon)
Yes is can get warm inside a pc but not that hot, unless it's directly touching a heat sink fishing line should be fine, but it's not going to be easy to work with.
A bag of cable ties is cheap and works well, for even less cost, Bag ties, they'll come with every bit of wire that comes with pc components.
Look in your kitchen draws you probably have some kicking about in there.

Ahh maybe, but their's a shed load of designs out there like this in the industrial/server world that are normally found on 4U 19" rackmount chassis.
Re: Graphics card a little weighed down...
Cable ties???? I've always *hated* them, I'd rather have a messy case than have a single cable tie in there. The only ties I've used in that are the releasable ones behind the mainboard.
