    PSU - Seventeam? - V-Force??

    Hi,

Does anyone know much the PSU manufacturer Seventeam?

I've seen V-Force 750/850W modular and non modular available in the UK.

Just wondered if anyone out there had tried or used them before yet?

Here is PSU manufacturer's website, bit on the slow side!!
and place in UK offering them

Never heard of them and for those prices you might as well buy something decent from someone reputable.

Ahh well I heard Seventeam were like Seasonic, ie OEM for other brands such as Silverstone and Cooler master.

Thought they might be worth a look.

Yeah I saw that too. The low efficiency one was the 1200w one. Couldn't find any reviews for the others though. The efficiency was like 73% at 250-270w load which pulled around 350-380w from the socket. The others may be better though, it's just that when they don't get enough coverage and praise and good results on reviews I really don't think of buying them.

Yeah I had a look at jonnyguru and see what you mean. the modular one fairs a little better according to his test on low loads 81% @ 237W load. But who'd be mental enough to buy a 1200W PSU and only be drawing that much power?......I bet there is one though, would be a PC built along the lines of good old fashioned British over engineering!!
