It's a damn fine board, just needs the BIOS tweaking a bit more to iron out the bugs, but most people will be able to use it fine as it is.
Do you think some of these motherboard designers are colour blind?
There are some really nice ones out there you know *cough* DFI *cough*
I refer to the GB colour-scheme as the fisher price "my first motherboard" scheme as it is what you'd expect if fisher-price had motherboards for children with it's colours and colour-coding scheme :)
ok the dfi brown, yellow and orange may not be to anyone taste but at least they kept it fairly colour coordinated.
Gigabyte seem to have used every colour they could on that one, if they'd of kept the various sockets blue & white like they did on the GA-EX58-UD5 it'd be a far nicer looking board
Nice, it is the same colour combination as the GA-EX58-UD5 :)
Yes, it looks identical apart from the Hybrid Silent Pipe 2 part.
Well - bought it, installed it, overclocked it :)
I've got it to 4Ghz on the F3 BIOS, but it's not stable - Prime95 causes a BSOD crash after c.10 mins
Not in front of me atm - but it's 200Blck with 20x multi, 1600Mhz RAM (standard) 1.525 vcore, 1.3v North and South bridge - and the rest I can't remember atm - will do a more detailed post later
Oh - and I like the colour scheme !
maybe final bios F4 will raise overclocking limit, it should be released soon i think. as i found some beta F4 bioses but wouldn't use them as i read that some of them are really betas (making some problems while fixing another ones)
