Hi guys,
I've been using a Dell 24 and a 17inch touch screen on my PC for a while now, and I think the time has come to buy two more monitors( one for each side)
I've already chosen and purchased the monitors - My issue is with choosing a new graphics card.
I'm looking for a cheap PCI card (notice not PCI-e) ,which will be compatible with my ATI HD4870 I already have, and have two D-sub outs.
I asked ATI on their support forum and the asnwer they gave me was...
Is there a way of using 2 cards at once, and which ones should I go for?I understand you would like to have 3 or more displays from your system using 2 or more video adapters. The presence of 2 active video adapters is only supported in a Crossfire setup and this will not result 3 or more displays. The results of multiple active cards in a system is not supported because the outcome is not consistant. We offer a FireMV 2400 card that allows 4 displays. You may find suggestions at www.rage3d.com.
Cheers,
