    Laptop Cooling (i think!?) Advice

    Hi all,

Hope am posting this in the right topic/section

Just recently got my laptop from repair..... other issue not relevant..... on the job sheet it returned with, it says they 'reset cooling module' but when i plugged in to mains... to boot up/charge etc.... within 10secs its making a lovely clickety sound i good description would be if a fan was going round and i think catching on something as it does.... i kinda 'hit' it in that area on the keyboard.... and it calmed down but would still make that noise now and then maybe every half hour or hour i think

when i called them back they say there's nothing wrong.... but it did not make that noise before!!!!

do i just live with it as surely its not normal? i've called back a couple of times and they all say the same thing and if they dont think there's anything wrong, they wont pick it up to investigate!!??

    Thanks

    Scalpel..

Just take it apart and find the offending cable if it's there.

it depends if the click sounds like the fan hitting the cables or a broken piece. it could well be that there is a broken piece. what company/brand is the laptop from?
