with the PSU, people say that it is often overlooked. i wanted to know which one is best for long term and of coruse silent..
also does anyone know how bearable the fan noices are for the antec 900? i was going to turn the roof one off as i dont think i will be running the temps that high.
however i have cases, i have falled in love the antec 900 :S!
Hey guys,
the above is what i am thinking of building. just wanted to know if
a) it was all compatible and b) they are the best i can buy for the price. not this is more of a media pc in that i will probably watch films on my 24", occasionally play cod (i have another computer one in my profile for that) and i will listen to music mainly.
the main think i want from this computer is SILENCE! it will be in my room where i do all my school work so need to not notice its on basically.
i currently have a dell optliex GX620 atm which is ok. but i dont see it as a long term thing i want to keep. i want to have one that can potentially let me upgrade etc. but nothing as big as getting another 8800 gtx etc. and i want it to last long in that i don't demand much power and is a secondary computer.. but i do like my computer to load word, itunes etc quickly.
also i have never overclocked, does anyone know the OC abilities of this?? and are these the best prices? i only like scan because of the service they give on here and the free delivery..
also i have a GFX card (which is fanless) but it is low profile, does anyone know where i can get a bracket for the large cases??
thanks a lot,
vmong
