Temperatures in New Computer.
Hi guys,
I just got a new computer and i use speedfan to monitor my temps. and for my CPU i get -(minus)64^C
not it never changes. is there any way to get the correct reading? on my other computer it is fine..
also i have bought a passive cooler for my GPU, but for now i have the fan for it running at 40%
seems to be stable at 57. does anyone know what the other temps are? like Temp1, etc.

Re: Temperatures in New Computer.
You might need a bios update. My M2A-VM does that with a 5000+ in it. Reads something like -7 and 3 degree's but I left it as it makes me feel special at building computers  ... and I couldn't be arsed! :D
Re: Temperatures in New Computer.
I think thoses temp1, etc readings are from the chipset temp & hdd temps (if it supports S.M.A.R.T.).
Re: Temperatures in New Computer.
Try coretemp or realtemp... or both :D .
Re: Temperatures in New Computer.
Realtemp only works on intel cpu's (i think) while coretemp works on both intel & amd :P

It does look shooped, but why would somebody do that lol :S ? Would be the worst troll ever.
Re: Temperatures in New Computer.
haah idiot, why would i "shop" it and where would i get the random numbers from?? also to note, if noticing the "fakes" is your competitive edge then your losing it..
