Hey guys, sorry to ask this question on here but the last time I bought a PC was about five years ago and I have not kept up with the latest hardware.
I will use it almost exclusively for gaming, at a 1680x1050 resolution.
Thanks in advance.

You might want to have a look at my thread forums.hexus.net/hexus-hardware/154198-my-sub-450-gaming-rig-plan-1-a.html - I suspect if you need to buy a case/PSU/OS etc this will bring you up to your £500-600 target.
Alright I will have a gander, thanks.

Get one of the Western Digital 640gb hard drives:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/144339
Also do you have a copy of XP or Vista??
I have 64bit XP =)
I'd get a 525W enermax proe82+ and coolermaster CM-690.
You can thank me later
I have changed the case to the one you recommened, but I could not find the PSU on ebuyer.
It's cheaper on scan I think but never mind.
i can't either it's here though, gone up a bit mind

This will also happily power that system and more
http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/425W-...uard-SafeGuard
yeah true it's a good deal certainly.
Where has the modu82+ 425W gone though. Scan and Ebuyer are out.. and it's off both site. Glad I got it when I did.. even though the cables are annoying lol
Alright, priced up a system on Scan as well. Brought the graphics card down to a 4850 to try and stay below the £500 mark. Is the performance increase from the 4850 to 4870 worth the extra cash?
