+ it's because im eager to start using my pc properly again, im currentley in Safe Mode .
My only problem with this FPS is will it be able to run things such as cpu&gpu wc, dual or quad core, couple gb sticks of ram and a few 120mm fans when I decide to buy them?
Basically could I juice this for the stated 700W?

I just tried its back up to 60 odds again

Yeah has been on alot recently, sooner or later Scan will get bored of not making much profit hehe
As I said in previous post and to echo the above, it will easily handle your current setup and leave tonnes of upgrade potential. Can't forsee having any problems running a 4870X2 or GTX280 along with a Quad and more HDD and fans than I can fit in my case. I think?, its mainly modern graphics cards that are forcing us onto bigger and better PSUs, or atleast making us think more about the cheap rubbish most of us have used for years. Needless to say @700W with 4x 15amp +12v rails, at 50+amps combined IIRC you wont have a similar problem for a good while.
If you want more flash, have a look at the Corsair and Enermax units, Corsair HX520W being modular and backed with 5years gaurantee, but comes in at £70+. Theres the cheaper Corsair CX400W but thats £40 before postage on eBuyer (not stocked by Scan yet). I almost bought the HX520W myself but in the end couldnt justify spending that sort of cash, many people are happy to though, I just advised the FSP as it is smack on budget and everyone including me seems happy with them.
Pumpman, you have to click "buy" from the today only page, going to the item via the little "I" and then adding to basket will add it at full price.
EDIT.. Clicky should dump one in your basket at offer price. https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/Sho...oductId=941388
aye your right, when I clicked on item it comes up with the 60 odds price , when i clicked on the buy button it came up at the 20 odds price
thanks
edit just ordered one at the offer price, rude not too, I don't need one right now but will do for the future also stuck in kasperksy for a tenner and another F1 drive for the home server

It has the following-
4 molex
4 sata
2 pci express (both 6 pin)
2 floppy
1 Main connector- 24 pin
1 cpu 12v 4 pin
IIRC you don't need to have one 6pin and one 8pin connected into a 2900xt. You can get away with plugging in both 6 pins, but you wont be able to overclock (but thats not a big disadvantage).
radar (05-01-2009)
From memory (and excuse me not knowing the technical names lol)...
2x PCIe (6pin)
4x Molex
4x SATA
2x Floppy
1x 4pin ATX thingey, not an 8pin EPS for some of the newer mobos.
24pin ATX main plug, doesnt split into a 20+4pin for older mobos
Should be able to get adaptors to 8pin PCIe, 8pin EPS for sure http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Hiper...E-TRAVEL-CASE) and if your mobo has a 20pin power socket you'll need one of these... http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Akasa...wer-connector) Also as its OEM, doesnt come with a power lead, buy a new one if you want or just use your current one.
*EDIT beat me to it.
