Software solutions to monitor hardware performance?
Alrighty!
So I've set up my rig, a lovely 7750 BE in an Antec 1200 with an Asus 4850 and a 27'' Dell monitor.
I am beginning to get interested in tweaking and changing things (I got the virus I know, it's incurable..). So my first idea was to figure out which programs/utilities can I use to monitor the performance of my rig. I am not referring to wholesome benchmark software. What I am referring to are things such as the following:
- temperature measuring programs (for the mobo/gpu/cpu/hard drive)
- fans controlling programs (is there such a software solution?)
- individual benchmark tools for hd/gpu/cpu so I can see the performance changes on each component as I tweak it
I know that I can use the Catalyst tool for the gpu, so that's sorted, but what other tools are there to monitor the rest of the stuff?
Any ideas and suggestions most welcome!

I use RMClock to monitor my CPU usage and temperature:

cpu - coretemp
case fans - speedfan
benchmarking:
ati tool (test overclock for stability) - gpu
prime95 as above - cpu
3dmark
