About LinkBacksFrom what i have seen of crysis, it seems to be the "benchmark" for gamers, but is that game even that good? it seems to be more like a 3d mark thing.
i just think that Crysis is soo over rated and nothing to get excited about...

I thought it was great game though a bit short, and it got over 90% from most reviews: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crysis
And like oblivion, the graphics power needed to make it work nice were well ahead of its time, thats why it is used as a benchmark.
And I dont think the game its self is over rated and considering now it is a 14 month old game, there is nothing really that much to get excited about.
Warhead was a bit better, but apart from that Single player wasn't all that exciting. Go for CoD4 if you want to play the best Single Player FPS ever*!

I thought both Crysis and Crysis Warhead were great fun to play IMHO. I think a lot of people have negative views about Crysis due to to its excessive hardware requirements. However if your system can play it is worth having a go. It has that same "wow" factor that Farcry had a few years ago.
However the best game I have played recently has got to be Bioshock though.
I liked Crysis, Admittedly the story goes a downhill, and has a typical viewpoint. Game is a little short (i can see why they released warhead to add more dimension). The whole environment, engine/system, graphics are very rich and gave it quite immersive (sp?) experience.
So I'd look at it more as a...i can't think of the word... - a tech demo?

admittedly i dont play that many games, but the way people on youtube go on about it is soo OTT.
i mean boasting about 3d-mark. but i still dont see the hype that was all!
OMg i heard on the radio, that one guy played Warcraft in an internet cafe, he wore a bloody nappy!! and was arrested... and you hear of these sick heads that they pee in bottles etc. utterly disgusting..1
