    Intel Enhanced Speedstep Tech

What is it as, from what i gather it changes your cpu to save engergy.
Whats interesting me though is the fact that i have it off under the bios but my q6600 will drop the multiplier from 9 down to 6.

If it was turned on what it change the voltage and fsb which is why people suggest you turn it off if overclocking.

Disable C1E too and it'll stop lowering your multi. Me when I'm overclocking I leave it on anyway. Has never interrupted or destabilized my overclock. If I've set X volts in the bios it stays like unless I load it and it encounters VDroop.
