Exclamation Logitech warranty and customer service is...

    absolutely brilliant

Basically my 6-7 month old MX518 was suffering from internal issues, most likely the USB cord or wiring (random cut outs, dropping down to 800dpi etc...)

Contacted Logitech on 9th Friday, swapped a few emails over the weekend, Logitech granted me a replacement which shipped yesterday (Tues 13th) and it is now with me TODAY.
    Next day from Germany, brilliant.

ps there seems to be yet a new version of the mouse circulating
still 1800dpi but the underneath is completely different
    (not my pic)

Movement is much more slippery, I use a cloth based pad for generally more friction, however it now moves like its on an Icemat :S

    Lucky from UKCS?

Also, I have had this MX518 for about 3 years now, I will never buy another type of mouse unless they stop making them.

Logitech rma cs is amazing. Arguably the best I've ever come across.

Re: Logitech warranty and customer service is...

This is not news! It's just plain spam, we all knew Logitech's CS was top notch

Suprised they didn't ask you to send a picture of the cut usb cable on the mouse though.

Another thread that is predictable from the title

Anything with 'logitech' and 'customer service' in the title is practically guaranteed to be praise

Re: Logitech warranty and customer service is...

Their customer service is good, their supply chain isn't.

After reporting my MX1000 faulty, they agreed to replace it with an MX Revolution (that was the good part) but the bad part was a two month wait for the replacement to ship.

Ah well, can't really argue as it was only just within its 3 year guarantee.

From my experience they seem very good, informative and friendly, as well as quick in getting back to you. So I can't complain.
