    Looking to buy UPS

I'm looking to buy a UPS, preferably line-interactive and with a power output of >300w continuous. Not sure how much I'm looking to spend, but if they turn out too expensive I might get a standby UPS or a good quality surge protector. I believe APC is a good brand?

    Re: Looking to buy UPS

lol Another vote for APC here - server grade equipment, decent management software, certainly the best bet. You don't see any other makes in use in critical areas tbh - schools, offices etc out in the sticks with an iffy power source all benefit from the regulatory properties of a UPS and they're mostly running APC
    Moo.

    Re: Looking to buy UPS

    Thanks for the advice guys

Edit: what model should I go for - ES/CS/RS for APC? Am I right in thinking the RS model is line-interactive?

    Smart-UPS, not Back-UPS.
