    Best PSU for 2xGTX260's/HD4870's?

I've got a core i7 920, 3Gb 1600Mhz ram, Gigabyte UD5 mobo and looking to get one, then a further one in future, of the above cards - which PSU would you recommend to handle this? I have been looking at the PC power and cooling / Corsair 750's so far...

I believe either of those PSUs would be fine. Also consider Enermax

Corsair do some very nice PSU id highly recomend them and userally you can pick them up at nice prices

I wouldn't go below 750W though on power as that system will drain alot of power and you don't want ur PSU near full capasity as they lose efficentcy when that happens

Oh dear. Neither of these statements are true. 600W PSUs from good manufacturers are perfectly capable of handling 2 Video cards; 750W PSUs have been tested with Quad SLI. And PSUs tend to perform more efficiently when under a decent load.

Nothing wrong with the Corsair 750 though, and it gives some headroom.

I'd choose the Corsair HX620 instead, simply because of its modular capabilities.

both are good psu's but both rmas are handled in holland.

I personally would go for a zalman or a seasonic (what corsair's are anyway) as they both offer uk rma. 2weeks and £20 shipping is not fun

And you can RMA back to the e-tailer for the full duration of the warranty...

In my experance 99% of etailers after the year is up they tell you where to go!

Yeah, but you can insist that they deal with it, they are accountable for the full duration of the given warranty period...

They can only reccomend that you go to the manufacturer, and the only reason that they do, is it cuts them out, and also possibly speeds up the process, as the e-tailers end up sending it to the manufacturer anyway...

Scan are very helpful - I think they would be happy to RMA for the entire warranty period.

Been waiting for an updated version of the Corsair PSU table
