    Asus P5K Anygood

    I can get an Asus P5K second hand for £30 and am wondering if its any good.
    Is it a worth while board as i plan to overclock my q6600 up to 3.2Ghz with it. How easy is it to use.
    The only reviews i seem to find are for the deluxe version.

    It should be a bargain at £30!

    Easy to overclock, goes a fair way as well.

    Owned one for a year, was the best overclocking board for my P5K, took it all the way up to 4ghz!

    A wealthy of overclocking options in the bios, rock stable, incredibly fast board. For £30 your laughing!

    Your Q6600 will guarantee you a place in heaven if you parter it with the P5K

    What stepping was the Q6600 as if i can get mine up to 4Ghz!

    You sure it was the standard P5K as i've read the pro & deluxe versions are better.

    GO stepping with a vid of 1.250, cpu was under water cooling too.

    It was the p5k black pearl 10th anniversary edition of the board.

    I've got a p5k standard and I'm runnung my E6600 at 3.2ghz, it's been no problem.

    I have the Deluxe WiFi version, ran an E6600 3.3GHz rock solid for a year, now i've got a Q6600 in it - can't wait to OC it! £30 sounds like a bargain

    I've got a p5k premium black pearl ed. with a Q6700 and its working fine for me, although i must admit i've not overclocked it yet, but i plan to v soon.
