Media Streaming.

Hi folks.

I have recently been using my PS3 in my bedroom for streaming AVI's and so forth using TVersityfrom my Media Center in the front room. I would like to use my PS3 in the living room for playing games which is what it was designed for!

Are there any devices that would do as good job as the PS3 does? (it will play many different file types via wifi without delay or glitches)

I was using a neuros OSD for streaming video for a long time before it was replaced by my xbox 360. that said, no built in wifi, although i think you can plug a usb adaptor in to get the functionality you require. another think to note is SD only, no HD video with this device, although they are working on a new HD version

Blimey they are expensive considering they have no wifi and no HD!

yer, bought two because they are open source and thought developing on it would make a nice project for me and my then, recently retired father. I wrote a bit of code for mine, dad has only just unboxed his, this was nearly 3 years ago!

Anyone know where in the uk I can get my hands on a Neuros OSD at a reasonable price.
