    Moby-Dick sugested it to me ages ago..and Agent too I think .....

    one monitor....one keyboard...one mouse....doesn't need a power supply....

    and plug in two PCs...

    boot them up whenever you want and just swap between them...am defragging one PC RIGHT NOW while on here....both different resolutions (it remembers them)

    And cos its a BOX with switches, not a cable that needs you to hit a combo of keystrokes to swap over, things like Cntrl C for copy (you DOS boys are gonna tell me thats wrong now huh ) still works

    £18.79 inc VAT.

    And it blumin well works too

    hmmm i would... but i have a dual input monitor...
    the downside is i get to reuse my old optical mouse, and have 2 keyboards on my desk, which i dont mind, except when i relised i just typed this on the wrong comp

    Looks useful even if you arent mending friends/relatives computers. But i will never buy anything of ebuyer again....

    Damn that's so cheap I'll buy one next time I get something off ebuyer.

    However, I have a spare monitor so it's never really been a problem servicing PC's for people. In fact, I usually go to them - I'm king of service in my area, lol.

    There's a simple solution if you have dual monitor. Ebuyer sell a USB switch. Get it and a USB hub, then plug your devices into the hub as follows:

                |                           |
[USB Kettle?]---+                           +--[Computer B]
    Et voila, a very cheap KVM solution for anyone with a USB mouse/keyboard.

    Useful - unless you have a dual monitor and dual input main, also lotsa spare keyboards/mice to testing
