Think about it... the quality of the capacitors might not be that good at that price and still use chemical capacitors as opposed to solid capacitors. Also, the power phasing system might not be as good on the cheaper boards, compared to the more expensive boards available.
Also, your not going to get a good chipset for overclocking as the cheaper end of the market are really aimed at normal operation and as such they might not reach or operate with a high FSB unlike the the better quality, better chipset based motherboards available.
