Asus Premium wifi p5k - boot time

Hi,

I was just wondering what kind of boot time you guys get with this motherboard? Or your current motherboard.
Mine takes about 1min 30 secs.

I've not overclocked this board, as seems a little complicated so i'm going through the guides written on this forum.
Would overclocking make a difference on the boot time?
Or even a bios upgrade, as i'm on 0404.

I've got a standard p5k, it depends what boot time you mean, if it's the mobo boot to the os start then mines about 20seconds, and 0404 is an old bios, think mine is 1201.

About 40 seconds on my p5k wifi however it's using a fairly extensive RAID array which takes a bit of time to verify on startup. Dont think I've ever used it without raid :/

Sorry, I meant, from switch on to the where u can actually perform an action on the OS.
