wish asetek would stop copying nventiv's products, its a clone of the alu mach 2 really. First they copy evap head and now the whole bloody thing.
    ARGH!!!

Mach 2 is still the king ;-) and u know it.

They finally got rid of the orignal ugly case I see, about time too. (Even if it is modeled on the mach2 )

It wouldn't be too bad for LANs. I carry my PE to mine, only problem I have is I can't see my feet as I'm walking, going down stairs is always fun. Not to mention the weight of it all.

the evap head has changed from the xe but its still round and i fail to see how its copied the mach 2's tho

unless your referring to the mounting assembly (the huge black thing) but that nothing like the prommies silly string method

+ it will be cheaper than mach 2 comes as standard with lcd and you dont need to buy a kit to make it match your lian-li

apparantly nventiv are releasing a new 1 soon tho aswell which should be interesting

Dunno if that's different to what's been posted already. I seem to be on asetek's mailing list.

There are only so many ways an evaporator head can attach onto a mobo....just like a heatsink from Coolermaster and then one from say Akasa, you can't say that ones copying the other really....

AseTek have been bringing out a lot of new gear in the last few months, brilliant work I say.

    "LightSpeed Campaign Price!!!
With minor national variations asetek?s recommended Campaign retail price the VapoChill LightSpeed? CPU cooling systems is:

    649. - EUR excl. VAT (Europe, Asia, South Am.)
    829. - USD excl. TAX (North Am.)"

I wont be buying one. Instead im about to spend lots of cash building waterblocks (which I aim to sell afterwards), making myself a decent alu case, none of this lian li/coolermaster crap, and maybe consider a TEC or phase change waterchiller. While these units are still expensive and cant cool GPU's I couldnt justify the cost.

From where I am I cannot see hwo you would cosider it copying. Firstly the external unit is a better idea and is becoming standard with kits, esp the cheap watercooling kits - the TT one and corsair one. Having it under the case is the ONLY place you could really have it, It wouldnt fit well next to, behind, above or on the other side of the room, now, would it?
How can you claim the evap head is copyed? I admit I dont remmeber what the other ones look like, but its the insides that matter anyway, in waterblocks atleast, I assume it matters on these, too.
