    Angry Epox 8rda3+

Just started putting this system together Epox 8rda3+ motherboard,2500 AMD Barton, ATI 9200 Pro, 512 meg Crucial 3200 DDR ram, 80gig WD JB, NEC 2500 DVD Burner, and 52/32/52 Liteon CD-RW, Aspir Xspider Aluminum case 420watt PS. I am having a problem and hope that someone can give me some suggestions, I assembled this machine and attempted to turn it on, but nothing came on, checked switch on PS OK, checked for voltage at PS ok, started to uplug the ATX Power plug on board, when suddenly everything came on. Thought that maybe plug was not seated properly, so I reseated it and pushed the ON/Off button machine came on turned off with the button, machine went off everything seemed fine until I unplugged the power cord from the machine and replugged it the machine would not come on with the on/off swithch. I again uplugged the atx power cable on board and everthing attempted to come on. I then reseated the plug and the machine would come on with the on/off switch but anytime I uplug the cord from the receptacle, on the back of the machine or at the wall recept. or turn the switch for the power supply I loose the ability to start the machine with the on/off switch. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Ahead

Hmmm... I have that board and also had some problems trying to get it to power up after I built it. I couldn't get it tp power up at all....

This may or may not be your problem:

If you are using the USB header on the board, make sure you are not using the "Over current" pin on one of the row of pins, just leave it unplugged....
