    new hard drive and ac adapter???

    need a new ac adapter and hard drive.
    ac adapter for: sony vaio laptop
    hard drive: 80GB 8mb

    where is the best place to get them for good price?

    the problem with laptop power supplies is that they're generally manufacturer dependant. You'll need to check the voltage on your current one and see if you can find a match. Maplins sell them, but normally they dont have enough juice to power a laptop (more for keyboards, lamp etc.) i know maplins do something called a juice adapter which can power your laptop from mains, in car, in plane, in boat etc. but its £90.

    You can try and ebay a second hand one, but i think your best bet is to go back to Sony and ask if they can do you one, but i dont think it'll be much lighter on your wallet than the Juice adapter.
