The Phenom 810 is overpriced as the Phenom 920 costs around the same and has an extra 2mb of L3 cache and the latter uses cheaper DDR2.

you can run an am3 on a am2+ board, so that's mighty irrelevant

I would be interested, but there is no black edition am3 quadcore yet, just the triple core which I dont think I would ever buy

Oops!! I forgot about that!! However the Phenom II X4 920 is still better for £160 than the Phenom II X4 810 at the same price.

That would be a 945 BE then

original time line had then released April I think but you never know they may appear sooner

That only applies to the 925 and 945 as the 920 and 940 were released as AM2+. The 910 for example is AM3. I love simple naming schemes.
